Babar Azam’s decline in Test and T20 rankings

The International Cricket Council has released the Test and T20 players rankings, while Pakistan captain Babar Azam has dropped in the Test and T20 cricket rankings.

In the new Test Player Rankings released by the ICC, England captain Joe Root retains the number one spot, while Australia’s Marnos Labou Shane has moved up to the second position with the best ranking of his career.

Australia’s Steve Smith is third and New Zealand captain Ken Williamson is fourth, while national team captain Babar Azam has slipped one place to ninth.

In batting, Mohammad Rizwan is 18th, Fawad Alam is 20th and Abid Ali is 22nd. Khan has moved up 52 places to 49th position.

West Indies’ Jason Holder tops the list of all-rounders, England’s David Milan tops the list of T20 batsmen, South Africa’s Aiden Markram is second and Babar Azam has slipped one place to third. Ali has moved up 88 places to 98th position.

Sri Lanka’s Vanandu Hasaranga tops the bowlers’ list, Shadab Khan is in the top ten, he is 9th after five notches, Haris Rove is 19th after three notches and Mohammad Nawaz is 29th. Came in 54th.

Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan tops the list of all-rounders.
