Karachi: A passenger coach caught fire in Yousuf Goth bus terminal

A passenger coach caught fire in Baldia Yousuf Goth bus terminal providing transport service from Karachi to Quetta and other cities of Balochistan.

According to Saeedabad police, a coach parked inside the Yousuf Goth bus terminal on Hub River Road in Baldia Town caught fire mysteriously.

The transporters tried to put out the fire with their help but failed due to the intensity of the fire. The fire brigade was also called.

According to the fire brigade control of the city district government, firefighters were dispatched with two vehicles from Baldia Town and Saeedabad on the report of the fire. After a struggle of half an hour, the fire was brought under control.

According to Saeedabad police station officer Shakir Hussain, no one was killed in the blaze. The fire was brought under control and more property was saved.

According to the police, it is being estimated that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the bus which had been parked for several days.
