Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani has said that educational and health institutions in the private sector are created for money, making money is not a bad thing.
An award ceremony was held for the scholarship recipients at a private university in Karachi.
The special guest of the function, Sindh Minister for Information and Labor Saeed Ghani said that FBR has declared this university as a non-profit institution which is a matter of happiness.
Asked about the Local Government Bill, the provincial Information Minister said that not everyone can understand the Local Government Bill.
He said that inflation in Sindh was incompetent of the federal government.
At the ceremony, 500 children were given scholarships with 40% and 60% discount in fees. Scholarships are determined on the basis of merit and previous semester GPA.
He said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, 47,000 teachers have been recruited in Sindh. The recruitment was done on 100% merit.
The provincial information minister added that the government should provide all education for free but we do not have the resources.
