A private Syrian airline has launched an air operation for Pakistan. The first direct flight of ‘Sham Wings’ airline has reached Karachi from Damascus.
The flight was received at Karachi Airport by the team of Captain Saeed Khan, Head of Commercial, Shaheen Airport Services.
The first direct flight of Sham Wings Airlines landed in Karachi at 2:24 pm. According to Captain Saeed Khan, Head of Commercial, Shaheen Airport Services, the first flight 6Q661 arrived in Karachi from Damascus with 31 passengers.
In the first flight of Syria Wings, 173 passengers are going to Damascus from Karachi.
According to Captain Saeed Khan, Sham Wings Airlines will operate a weekly flight between Damascus and Karachi. Sham Wings has selected Airbus A320 for its Karachi flight.
According to Saeed Khan, the efforts of Shaheen Airport Services have started the flights of Sham Wings to Pakistan. This is a successful effort of the private sector of Sham Wings Airlines established in 2007.
According to Captain Saeed Khan, Sham Wings Airlines will also operate flights to Islamabad and Lahore in the coming days.
