In the US mid-term elections, the Republicans won 209 seats in the House of Representatives.
However, it needs 9 more seats to win a simple majority, the Democrats have 191 seats. The Republican Party is also leading in the Senate, winning 49 seats.
Democrats won 48 seats, pending the results of the Senate states of Arizona and Nevada for a decisive lead.
Republicans and Democrats in Georgia will face off again on Dec. 6 if they don’t get a clear majority.
